Miss V is ridin dirty

Miss V said "Molls" will you take me for a mountain bike ride?". Ummm YES! Carol Ann and I took Miss V out for her very first ride in the dirt. It was so much fun and she did incredible. We started from Jon and Missy's place and headed to Peters for the ride.

a few miles in we stopped for some water. Look at her smile, having a blast. I could not help but laugh and heckle her a bit for her "fred ring" see pic on right. this is the newbie mark, unless you ride, this is probably not funny to you.

Lookin good.. there were a few guys who stopped to take a look at our rock star, isn't she hot?

We made it to the top of the last hill, and had to take the victory shot. We had a wonderful day and I look forward to riding with Veronica again, she's a natural.

Cheers to the first Supper Club of 2010

Jon and Missy hosted our first Supper club of 2010. Can you guess the theme? Asian. Martin and Nicole made spring rolls for our appetizer. They were incredible. Missy and Jon served up a wonderful pork stir fry dish accompanied by wonderful grilled asparagus that Juliana and Kurt cooked up. There was no way to miss Carol Ann's arrival. She made Kimchi (fermented veggies) traditional Kimchi has fish too and let me tell you this stuff stinks.. makes sauerkraut smell like flowers! In spite of the smell, it was super tasty. I'd eat it again for sure. It is supposed aid in digestion. Steve and I were in charge of dessert this round. I was bit beside myself on what to do, so we hit up epicourious. We found green tea cheese cake. I was worried it was going to be a flop, but it turned out super good. It was another sucessful meal with really good eats as usual.

A dog day at the beach

stefo36 turns 36!

My husband turned the big 36 on Feb 8th. Being the good wife that I am, I took the day off and we headed to the dentist for a cleaning! Fun right... ok so it got better. After checking out cavity free, we hit Opah for some food, and a few of our closest friends showed up to surprise Steve. It was a great time. We headed home and had cupcakes and he got his new toy. Can you guess? A bike of course. I love you husband.

pure delight on the new toy.. not in the house honey .. :)

Here comes the Bride!

Carol Ann and Brett said their I dos. It was a beautiful January morning at The Santiago Oaks State Park. Friends and loved ones gathered around in a circle while the banjo played in the cool late morning air with the sun shining brightly on these two incredible people. Intimate, precious, and fun, it was totally them and just such a blessing to watch them join hands and step forward into their new life together. Best wishes and love to you friends.
Holla hoop and bikes were part of the fun..

Supper Clubers pic and the hitchen. What a great day.
